Wax Academy, or the Never Quit Dreaming Foundation, is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to develop recreational activities for children with special needs. Students will learn the art of waxing, sanitation, and professional work habits. The course combines theory and practical experience in a fast-paced environment. The course is divided into modules and covers a variety of topics. It also teaches students about waxing products and styles.
Help You Look Younger
Once you’ve completed your course, you can use your waxing certification to further your career. The certificate can be used as a reference for a variety of reasons, including building a resume for entry-level positions in the beauty industry or to open your own salon. You’ll also learn how to properly cleanse and treat your clients, including skin protection, and waxing the back and underarms.
The Cold Wax Academy’s second year of classes will begin in October 2020. Year two will feature expanded topics and live online learning sessions. Topics in year two will include professional development, the realism of art, principles of design, and expanded uses of the cold wax medium. The academy is committed to providing a high-quality education and hands-on experience.
