The Colorado Music Festival, helmed by conductor Peter Oundjian, fills the summer with magnificent music in Boulder’s historic, all-wood Chautauqua Auditorium. 2024 highlights include the return of violinist Augustin Hadelich; pianist Olga Kern; and a celebration of Bruckner’s 200th birthday with the CCQ (Cello Quartet).
In Denver, the weekly Concerts on the Green and MoJaBlu concerts at Central Park bring together music and eats. Bring a blanket and kick back on the lawn, or sit in one of the teepee-like pavilions. Enjoy a beer fest and local artisan vendors in addition to the music. This family-friendly event benefits the Denver Symphony Orchestra’s Youth Music Scholarship program.
